Lawyer and mediator with more than 20 years of experience in legal advice to companies and negotiation in corporate, commercial, civil, information technology, intellectual property and data protection matters.
Lawyer practicing of the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid, Spain and the Illustrious Bar Association of Caracas, Venezuela and registered in the Official Registry of Mediators of the Ministry of Justice of Spain.
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela where I obtained the title of Lawyer from the Andres Bello Catholic University and I started as a legal professional in the law firms Menpa and D'Empaire Reyna and as an in-house lawyer in the Casino Group.
My great vocation for the company prompted me to study for a Master's Degree in Business Legal Advice and in 2013, I decided to cross borders until I reached Madrid, Spain, where I obtained this degree from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. In 2004, after intensive studies of Law in Spain, the Ministry of Education of this country approved my Law degree in Venezuela for the title of Law Degree in Spain. Since then I became a practicing lawyer.
Madrid has been the main witness of my personal and professional evolution with an incessant dedication to my family and to the legal advice of companies in different sectors. I started in the Banking sector at AllFunds Bank. Subsequently, I worked as a lawyer for the firms Carmen Sanz Abogados and Bufete Mercantil M&B Abogados for two years, advising companies in the lighting, technology and distribution sector.
In 2007 I returned to the role of in-House Lawyer with my incorporation at the multinational company Indra, one of the world's leading global technology and consulting companies. During the 10 years that I was at Indra, I advised the business on important technological projects for the public and healthcare, financial, communication and media sectors around the world. Those were years in which I gained significant expertise in Technology and Information Law, Intellectual and Industrial Property and Data Protection, from Senior Legal Counsel to Global Legal Manager. During this stage I was a member of the High Potential Talent Team and I attended the EOI Development Program for Directors.
In 2017 I joined Prosegur, a leading multinational company in Spain in the Security sector, present in 31 countries. Prosegur is a company that is committed to innovation, continuously improving its processes and adding the latest technology. I was the leader of a Digital Transformation project in the Legal area in Brazil, in which we transformed the management of judicial processes incorporating RPA technologies-Robotic Process Automation and artificial intelligence, achieving significant savings and efficiencies for the company and obtaining recognition in the Group as a success story of Digital Transformation. I am the General Counsel of Prosegur Alarms and I am Director of the Corporate Legal Department responsible for global projects of digital transformation, innovation and information technologies. I am member of High Pontencial Talent Prosegur Group.
En 2023 I obtained a MBA degree from the EAB Business School and an International Acreditation Corporate Governance and Best Practices from Instituto de Gobernanza Empresarial
Member of EJE&CON, Dir&GE and Club IGE. Focus Group Member Cybersecurity & LegalTech Digital Observatory Law IE – Ecija and Spanish Association of General Secretaries and Council of Administration. I collaborat as a volunteer with the Prosegur Foundation and as judge with Technovation Girls.
In addition, I am a Global Business Legal Partner of the Alarms business, given legal support in everything that a B2C business involves.
I define myself as a person with a vocation to work in a multicultural environment. During the execution of my work, I make sure that those responsible for the affected areas are involved in each of the projects that I have to participate in, promoting the integration and development of team spirit, encouraging participation and decision-making. I am used to working with goals. I am a person with a vocation for transformation and innovation. I have in my DNA the constant search for improvements in processes to innovate or develop solutions that optimize the quality and efficiency of our daily work. My personal attitude seeks to achieve my maximum performance both in my individual and team work. I am passionate about my work and I strive to direct all the objectives towards the desired goal, acting effectively and knowing how to prioritize between what is urgent and what is important.
I consider that I have a vocation of service. I am oriented to listen to the needs of my clients and attend to their interests. I am a conciliatory person who seeks that his clients can resolve their conflicts quickly and satisfactorily, complying with the law. I trust mediation, negotiation and any other alternative dispute resolution procedure. I facilitate dialogue and communication between the parties, identifying the issues on which they disagree, their needs, keeping confidentiality and generating possible solutions so that they make well-informed and satisfactory decisions.
